Work In Progress Wednesday

There’s not much to talk about this week, because I just finished a semi-major project, my Scarlet Witch Cosplay, but I do have a few things I’m working on.

Star Wars Skirt

I’m finally finished with the Star Wars skirt that I’ve been working on forever! I started it way back in January, but promptly forgot about it and then lost it. I found it again, recently, and decided to finish it.

I really love the way it fits and feels. I cut it just a little bit shorter than the pattern called for, so that when I wear it a little above my waist (which is where I like to wear things) it falls right to my knees.

Yep, you read that right. I did this in 48 hours (actually, less).

Making a Magik X-Men Barbie Doll

My best friend’s favorite thing ever is X-Men and her favorite X-Men is Magik, the younger sister of Colossus, who you would probably recognize from the Deadpool Movie. In fact, you wouldn’t recognize Magik from any of the movies, but if you play Marvel Heros 2016 she is a playable character. I’m told that she’s not hugely popular, so you actually don’t see her much of anywhere.
