This simple, bulky, and unblocked scarf will transport you to the warmth and comfort of the Weasley’s home.
After I made my Ravenclaw Scarf, I fell in love with the look and construction of tube scarves. They’re so easy to work on (I’ve worked on this one at school and in movie theaters!) and just warm and soft. No complaints from anyone. Not to mention, because they’re twice as thick, they end up twice as warm!
Its the middle of summer, so I won’t be modeling it for you outside (sorry) but come winter I’ll update with plenty of photos of me, trudging to class in the cold, wearing this scarf to stay warm.
650 Yards of Bulky Weight Yarn (I used Lion Brand: Scarfie)
Size 10 Circular Knitting Needles
Tapestry Needle to weave in ends
Cast on eighty stitches and join in the round. Work in stockinette stitch (knit all rows) until desired length is reached (or you run out of yarn).
You can block the ends if you want, or add tassels, but I choose not to, because it adds to the whimsical feel that goes along with all things Molly Weasley.
