Twist and Slouch Hat

finished knitting project, knitting

I finished my Twist and Slouch hat, and I love it! I knit this in a bright red Caron One Pound that my mother has had laying around our house since the dawn of time.

The hat is really comfortable and flattering, the only thing that I regret is that I didn’t switch to a larger needle (US 9) when the pattern called for it, instead I just kept working with my size 8 needles which meant that the top of the hat didn’t end up as baggy as I would as liked.

The twisted rib was really easy once I got the hang of it and I love the look and feel (surprisingly the hat doesn’t slip off my head like most do!)
